Please help and TIA.Ĭlick to expand.regarding this, if your printer is not a network printer, you can try this: I have been re-installing the printer and hate to think that I have to spend hard-earned money to get one of the printer on ASUS 'tested list'. I remembered I read somewhere that I would not be able to use some of the router's features if I changed to Access point mode. Everteck answer to me was to set the router to Access point mode and refered me to ASUS hotline. I tried using AiDisk to create a domain name via the ASUS DDNS services but encountered 'invalid IP address' After doing some research, I suspect it was due to double NAT problem(correct me if I am wrong). I called Everteck, they said they can't help me because the printer is not on the tested list I never expect this as all my previous singtel PACE modem/router worked without a glitch with the printer. I switched to Wifi printing instead of USB, but the same problem occurred. I reinstalled the printer a few times, the problem still occurred. It works well for a few days, then the connection will drop and I can't print anymore, though I still can see the printer on the router's index page (192.168.2.1). I have connected my existing printer Fuji Xerox CM205fw to the router via USB connection. After setting up the router, I have entered the following problems :ġ. The router is connected to singtel provided Aztech DSL-7002GRV via CAT5e cable. The firemware version that I using is 3.0.0.4.375.130. As my study room and heavy wifi usage area are not near the entrance, I bought an ASUS RT-AC66U router to place in the study room. My FTP is in a cabinet at my house entrance. I have recently re-contract with singtel from ADSL to fibre broadband 200mbps entertainment package. I am newbie in network and hardwares stuff and need help with the above router. ![]()
